The Family was in Town

So, here is me and my folks. They were in town this week for a visit. We had lots of fun and the kids love their granny and papa. It was a little hot to do things outside but I think everyone had a good time anyway. This was outside of Denny's this morning.

Miles bears a striking resemblance to my dad. We have been calling him (Miles) his mini-clone.

Hi,

I was born with congenital heart disease and underwent open heart surgery twice as a child. Recently I have thoguht that I would like to give something back and have undertaken a charity trading game very similar to the oneredpaperclip project which you may have heard of in the news recently. The only difference is that instead of working up towards a house I have decided that I will auction whatever item I have got after 18 months and give the proceeds to a charity that was set up to help Grown-ups with congenital heart disease named GUCH; this charity now helps all sufferers of all ages, their families and their friends.

I started out with a piece of old rope and called my blog Money For Old Rope. This was quickly traded for 18 pairs of craft scissors from a fellow GUCH and was then traded with an Australian man whose child has CHD for an olympic officals shirt from the Sydney 2000 games.

Please visit my site and let me know what you think of it, I would like to really push this in the CHD community which is why I have come accross your email address but I would also like to push it in the wider audience to help to raise awareness of congenital heart disease throughout the world.

Please put a link or a post about my site so I can continue to increase my readership, I will provide a link to your site on mine.

Best regards,

Paul Youngson.
